  • Bongajum Dora Lemnyuy was born on November 4, 1973 in Yeh-Kumbo, Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. Dora pursued her primary and secondary education in Catholic School Kikaikelaki and Presbyterian Comprehensive High School (PCHS),Kumbo respectively. In 1995, she enrolled for Pastoral training at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary Kumba and graduated in 1999 with a Diploma in Theology. After her Authorization, she was posted to Bole Bakundu Parish where she began her pastoral journey. Dora has served the church in the following capacities: Parish Pastor and associate pastor in 9 (nine) different parishes across the Nation; Coordinating Inter-college chaplain, Chaplain of PEA colleges, Chaplain of the PCC Health Complex, teacher of Religious Studies and Librarian P.T.S Kumba. She is currently serving as a lecturer at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Kumba. She has served the state of Cameroon as a GCE Advanced level Examiner and Superintendent of GCE centers.

     

    She has also served her community in several capacities. She is currently serving as the vice President of her Village Development Association, a member of the Ngonnso Restitution Committee, a member of the Nso Development Association (NSODA), a Member of the NSODA PEACE AND RECONCILIATION Committee, member of the NSODA Education Committee among others.

     

    She later enrolled for post graduate studies at the University of Buea where she read Curriculum Studies and Teaching at the PGDE level and Educational Administration at the Department of Educational Foundations and Administration, at the Master and PhD levels. She has the following Academic Certificates- Diploma in Theology, a Bachelor of Theology (BTh), Post Graduate Diploma in Curriculum Studies and Teaching (PGDE), a Master of Theological Studies (MTS), a Master in Education, and a PhD in Education specializing in Educational Administration.

     

    She has published three books and several articles in national and international journals. Dora is a mother of four.
