I Must Go

...Before taking on the long awaited, secret and controversial journey to Voulu, Ngasoh the strong man of the Soh deity is at the battle front of a number of family and inter village conflicts. His disappearance from Fangong leaves the people devastated. Ngasoh embarks on a daring journey to Voulu in the South, thousands of kilometres away from Fangong. This gives birth to other crises in Fangong. What would prompt a man to embark on such a perilous and challenging journey? Exhausted and disappointed severally on the way, Ngasoh finally reaches Voulu after some months, but now rumoured dead in Fangong. He interacts amicably with a few of his people and amazed by a chunk of others from other cultural backgrounds. Euphoria and confusion grip the people of Fangong with the reappearance of Ngasoh... Kari, his dear son also takes to the road on his own long journey but for the pursuit of education ... The rest of the story is simply fascinating. 

Isaac Chufor was born in Mfe, a village in Nwa Sub Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. Chufor went to Government Primary School Nwa. He proceeded to pursue his secondary education in Government High School Nkambe and Government High School Mbengwi. He studied Law and later English Modern letters at the University of Yaounde 1 where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English. Presently, he teaches English in Secondary Schools in Yaounde, Cameroon. He is the author of a poetry collection titled A Decade on the Window.
